It really depends on what your personal preference is and what your baseline tech knowledge and ability is. Rockpapercopy laid out the major players for you and I tend to agree with most of what she said. The challenge is, it's kind of like purchasing a car, you need to drive it! The platforms are so robust that regardless of what you choose, you'll be able to put together a powerful eCommerce store, but it's the little things that cause people to choose one over the other.
For me -- and yes, I'm biased -- Shopify takes the cake for those who have no prior knowledge because it's an all-in-one platform that requires very little integrations to get rolling. If piecing together a variety of software doesn't worry you too much, then the other options can work nicely for you as well.
