@storezz @Jay @BenSeelen I'll happy to provide an example of how I approach affiliates. Keep in mind my store is pretty flexible in terms of what it sells so I can approach a wide range of niche accounts.

They literally have nothing to lose, only gain! Some affiliates are so happy that they refer their friends with large accounts to the program.
And no, you don't have to send them product (but I will as soon as they start generated good sales), I've seem some accounts anywhere in the 10k - 100k+ range just post a product image or a collage of their own. I've also seen my affiliates earn passively just by throwing their affiliate link in the bio. Also to my surprise, many of these large account owners are young teenagers... think they're happy to be earning a few hundred to a thousand a week passively? You Bet! I also state that it's not a strict partnership so they aren't tied down and can promote other brands as well as part of their strategy. This gives them the freedom to promote as much or as a little as they want.
Will be interested to see how this pans out as a long term strategy. But as of starting it this month my dashboard is reporting 45k and crossing my fingers to reach a goal of 60k by the time this month ends.
As for disclosing my site, I prefer not to, but I can say it's NOTHING SPECIAL really. I'm using the FREE shopify SUPPLY theme because it works well. I've changed some of the verbiage in the language editor section. Offer free shipping for the most part, collect email addresses upon landing on my site, and send out custom abandoned cart emails.
That being said does anyone here have experience with email marketing?
