You asked and we listened! Oberlo Supply over the last few months has been expanding its repertoire of suppliers who have locations in the United States. Products coming from these suppliers can be sent by local carriers which drastically cuts down on shipping times. This also gives you the advantage of advertising to your customers that your products are coming from the USA!
There are some suppliers who have locations in China but also have warehouses in the USA. When you choose the shipping for these products you’ll see options for both. ePacket will mean it is coming from the warehouse in China, while the USPS (Fedex, UPS) option means it will be coming from the USA location.

As the Supply Team works to grow this list they have also been adding suppliers with warehouses exclusively in the USA as well! These suppliers have much shorter shipping times as they use USPS, Fedex and UPS for their products. Most products have an average of 5-10 days although some go as low as 2-4 days!

Sourcing products for your store from the USA will be a game changer! Faster shipping times and being able to share the location of products will put your dropshipping business at an advantage. Have you started sourcing from US warehouses? We’d love to hear your opinions in the comments!
Magda hi, I’m based in Australia and selling to Australian customers . Will using US suppliers reduce my shipping time? Thanks in advance, Petra?
Awesome!! btw if we use USA dropshippers, we have to pay sales tax?
Sales tax with dropshipping depends on your location in the United States too. Depending on whether or not you have nexus you will need to consider setting up sales taxes.
I would suggest checking out this guide for Dropshipping and Sales Tax as it covers everything you need to know and check. Otherwise to be safe you'll want to check with a tax specialist.
I used Taxjar guides all the time for my dropshipping store and found them very helpful and informative. Hope you do too!
That's a great question! I did some digging and it looks like unfortunately it will be similar times as ePacket. Sorry about that.
My only suggestion would be considering selling to an American market so that you can offer the faster shipping option. You can sell to any market regardless of where you are located. Although I am in Canada I target and sell to the US and offer USPS shipping.
This might be an option you want to consider. Hope it helps!
hola y estos proveedores ubicados en EE.UU puedo utilizarlos para vender en latinoamerica.
Yes you can use them to sell to Latin America. However, the shipping options might be different. What I would suggest is when looking for products to import, changing the shipping to option to the country you want to sell to. Then you will be able to see the shipping options and prices.
Here is a screenshot as an example. When I tested Brazil there was USPS options too!
The Soponder Store belt measurements don't make any sense to me. Any help on that?
Could you copy and paste the link to the product? Then I can have a look and see how I can help!
Heres 2 of them:
Not sure what those measurements are, like cenitmeters. I doubt it inches or else they would be some big belts.
Also in the description for product 156485, there is a size reference chart, but the references are in inches. Doesn't line up with the actual size on the product.
Thanks for your help.
holysmokes ah I see what you mean!
Listed in the description is exactly 16 measurements so I am assuming they coincide with the options at the top.
However, which ones they match is a total mystery to me too!
In this scenario I would email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please link the three products you sent me. They can escalate it directly to the supplier and get them to change the names and variants so you can make sure your customers are choosing the right ones!
Oh and this product the color is showing the SKU number
Magda Thanks Magda, I sent them an email with the details so hopefully can get it fixed.
the wholesalers having the warehouse in USA in your Oberlo product search, are they American sizes or still under the china sizes?
jmk2710 great question!
They are still in Asian sizes!
Hi there. So are they ever going to add U.S sizes ever? Since we/they are selling to the U.S consumers also? It is a bit frustrating not having the correct sizes for my customers especially because I do sell to the U.S consumers. I know that not everyone understands how to measure even when it is explained right in front of them. It is hard knowing Im selling these products to the American people and not have our U.S measurement chart. That is one thing I would like to see Oberlo handle. Thank you.
Hey there jojiebonate - I know it can be pretty frustrating, even with the conversion chart for sizing in US markets, you can't always expect the customer to connect the dots and ultimately, it looks bad on you. I can assure you that Oberlo is listening to this pain point and working on it with suppliers.
For context, these suppliers have to find a balance between US markets and the other massive markets outside of North America, so it's a business case for them. But that said, it's something we are workshopping and looking to improve upon. Thanks for your comment and apologies for the inconvenience.
